Syfter AI. Five specialist agents. Every answer cited.
Dialogue with the data. The Citation Path returns the source document, the PDF page, and the sensor ID for every answer. No black boxes. No hallucinations.
A general purpose model is good at sounding right. A water utility needs an answer that is right and provably so. Syfter is built the second way. Each specialist agent is trained for one domain, and each answer it returns carries the path back to the source.
Dialogue with the data, cited end to end.
An interactive preview on sample data — it illustrates how an answer and its Citation Path appear. Not a live system.
How Syfter is built.
Five specialist agents
Hydrology, Compliance, Maintenance, Geotech, and Procurement. Each agent has its own knowledge base, its own tools, and its own evaluation harness. A general router decides which agent or combination of agents answers a given question.
Multi modal RAG
Answers are grounded in real source material. Sensor streams, PDF pages, GIS layers, SCADA tags, and Excel sheets are indexed in vector form and retrieved at query time. The model weights generate language. The retrieval gives the model facts.
The Citation Path
Every Syfter answer carries a structured trace back to the documents, pages, sensors, and rules it relied on. The trace is visible in the UI and exportable as part of the audit log. If a citation cannot be produced, Syfter says so.
See the Citation Path, end to end.
The interactive preview uses a sample, fictional utility to illustrate how a question is routed and how the Citation Path traces an answer back to the sensor, the PDF page, and the regulation. It is a representation of the experience, not a live system.
What Syfter does day to day.
For the dam safety engineer
Ask why a piezometer reading drifted, and Syfter returns the reading, the historical baseline, the last three inspection notes that mention it, and the page in the design memo where the original threshold was set.
For the control room operator
Ask for the top three things to watch this shift, and Syfter returns the ranked list, the sensor tags behind each, and the previous shift’s handover summary.
For the compliance officer
Ask whether a recent release meets the downstream environmental flow obligation, and Syfter returns the answer, the relevant clause, the actual release schedule, and the gauge data that confirms the answer.
For procurement
Ask which spare parts ICE has flagged as needed in the next 30 days, and Syfter returns the list, the work orders that triggered the request, and the inventory check against the warehouse system.
FAQ.
Why agents instead of one general model?
+Domain accuracy. A general model averaged across hydrology, compliance, and maintenance is worse at each of them than a specialist trained for one. Syfter routes the question to the agent qualified to answer it.
Where does the source material live?
+Inside the customer environment. The vector store is part of the sovereign deployment. Source documents do not leave the customer VPC.
What happens when Syfter does not know?
+It says so. The system is built to fail visibly rather than to guess. An answer with no Citation Path is not returned.
